Private buyer pays €2.92m on Green

BNP Paribas Real Estate has sold a retail building at 12 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, to a private investor for €2.92 million – well ahead of the €2.5 million guide price.

There were a large number of bidders for the former bank premises which were more recently occupied by convenience store operators Griffin's Londis. That firm will continue to trade from its nearby outlet on Grafton Street. Mervyn Ellis of BNP said the strong sale price was driven by the continued demand and limited supply of prime city centre retail buildings.
