New site advises ratepayer on valuation certificates

MyValuation.ie, launched this week, is designed to offer business principals advice and guidance on how to deal with valuation certificates. The new project has been launched by surveyor Nick McAuliffe, solicitor Phelim O'Neill, and business partners from the property and retail industries.

The Valuation Office has begun issuing proposed valuation certificates to ratepayers in the Dublin City Council area. McAuliffe says that ratepayers may fail to understand the serious consequences and negative impact that failure to act could have on the value of their businesses and properties.
