Mao opens sixth eatery

Restaurant will be based in a former off-licence premises next to the Greyhound Bar

Asian restaurant chain will open its sixth Dublin business at the SuperValue shopping centre at Main Street in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

The restaurant will be based in a former off-licence premises next to the Greyhound Bar, which reopened at the end of 2014 under new owners.

Mao is likely to have agreed a rent of about €30,000 for the premises, which extend to 139sq m (1,496sq ft). The other Mao restaurants are at Stillorgan, Ballinteer, Dundrum, Tallaght and Donnybrook.

Mervyn Ellis of BNP Paribas Real Estate handled the letting for the landlord.
