Hotels: The old police headquarters in Boston will assume a new role next week when it reopens as Jury Doyle's fourth hotel in the United States. The stylish 1925 building now houses 225 bedrooms and elegant reception rooms featuring the works of some of Ireland's best contemporary designers.

The new four-star Jurys Boston is located at 350 Stuart St in the centre of the city's fashionable Back Bay neighbourhood. Opening rates start from $229 per room, including breakfast for two. The hotel will have a fitness gym, business centre, 465 sq m (5,000 sq ft) of meeting rooms and a penthouse presidential suite. The opening of the Boston hotel will bring to 32 the number of Jurys Doyle properties in Ireland, the UK and the United States. The group has three hotels in Washington.
