Templetuohy is about 8kms from Templemore, 14kms from Thurles, 13kms from Johnstown and 41kms from Kilkenny city. Templemore and Thurles have rail links to Dublin and Cork.

The site was originally brought to the market in 2007 with a guide price of over €1 million and this was subsequently achieved. Due to changing market conditions the sale did not proceed. The vendor has since decided to offer the property again for auction.
