Dundalk’s Imperial Hotel for sale at €1.2m

Centrally located 50-bedroom hotel is about 800m from Dundalk railway station

DTZ Sherry FitzGerald reports interest from both sides of the Border in the Imperial Hotel in Dundalk, Co Louth, which is to be offered for sale at a guide price of €1.2 million.

Kirsty Rothwell is handling the sale of the 50-bedroom hotel on the instructions of receiver Tom Kavanagh of Deloitte. It is located in the centre of Dundalk next to Marshes Shopping Centre and about 800m from Dundalk railway station.

It is also within 2.5km of Dundalk Institute of Technology.

The last census in 2011 found that 10 per cent of the population of Dundalk are students. Not surprisingly, the bar and nightclub in the Imperial attracts a considerable number of them.
