Dublin city centre camera shop sells for €775,000

As Victorian property sells, demand for retail investments in capital still running high

With the demand for retail investments in Dublin city centre still running strongly, agents Bannon has secured €775,000 for the Camera Exchange shop, opposite Dunnes Stores, at 63, South Great George's Street, Dublin 2.

The three-storey over-basement mid-terrace Victorian building was sold with vacant possession, following the decision by owner-occupier Billy Brennan, who has been running the business since 1989, to close the shop.

The building has an overall floor area of 235.8sq m (2,538sq ft) with the ground floor extending to 62sq m (699sq ft).
