Blackock adjoining shops and offices are sold for nearly €4m

Buildings extend to 1,514sq m , with more than 240sq m of vacant office space

A private investor has bought five adjoining shops with offices at 14-22 Main Street in Blackrock, Co Dublin, for €3.9 million – €400,000 above the guide price.

Robert Murphy of agents Murphy Mulhall handled the sale of the portfolio which included Boylesports, Supermacs, Eddie Rockets, Kerins Pharmacy, Toni & Guy, Ashtanga yoga, Walter Odlum solicitors, Clara Hand & Foot Spa as well as Unravel. There is also a vacant apartment at the rear.

The buildings extend to 1,514sq m (16,299 sq ft), with more than 240sq m (2,594sq ft) of vacant office space on the ground and first floors.

It produces a rent roll of €293,655 which can be increased to about €360,000 through asset management.
