A seven-acre development site in Delgany, Co Dublin, with planning permission for six large detached houses is to be offered for sale through Colliers International at about €1.5 million. The original site at Struan Hill, Priory Road, extended to eight acres and was sold in 2006 for over €10 million.

A substantial showhouse built on one acre of the site was completed in 2007 but failed to sell because of the collapse of the market. The 464sq m (5,000sq ft) house had been expected to fetch in excess of €4 million. It is now likely to be put back on the market in the new year, possibly at under €1 million – much less than it cost to build and fit out.

Marcus Magnier of Colliers is handling the sale of the seven-acre fully-serviced site with planning permission for half a dozen houses. The plot also includes the original Struan Hill House which is in poor condition. All the houses will have clear views across the valley to Delgany Village.
