RetailWarehouse: An interesting retailing opportunity will arise shortly on the busy Naas Road in west Dublin when the former Compustore goes for letting through agents CB Richard Ellis Gunne.
The agency is quoting a rent of around €200,000 for the high profile retail warehouse and showrooms with 640 sq m (6,888 sq ft) with additional office and storage accommodation of 460 sq m (4,951 sq ft). There is car-parking for 20 cars on the grounds.
The warehouse is highly visible from the Naas Road where around 50,000 passengers a day are carried on the Luas line to and from Tallaght. A further 70,000 people travel daily along the N7 where an extensive range of retail warehouses and showrooms has been developed in recent years. New car showrooms include BMW, Frank Keane, Mitsubishi Motors and ElP Mooney.
The former Compustore now available on a short term lease is on the Avonbeg Industrial Estate and is accessed from the Long Mile Road.
Cormac Kennedy of CBRE Gunne says the high visibility of the warehouse along the Naas Road would appeal to a range of retailers.
