Bread and roses for Philip Lynch

IT'S been a good week for Mr Philip Lynch of IAWS. Not only did he tie up the acquisition of Cuisine de France, but he also had some success on the golf course. His team was the winner in a 50-team competition in Moorepark in England, run by the Ireland Fund of Great Britain. And what's more, the second leg of the competition - on an adjoining course - was won by a team including Mr Paddy Moore, managing director of An Bord Bia, where Mr Lynch is chairman. Terry Wogan hosted the day and the afterdinner entertainment and, with each team paying £1,000, a tidy sum was raised.
