You’ll find my review from last weekend of The Last Days Of Detroit, Mark Binelli’s book on the rise and fall of Motor City, here. It’s an excellent book examining what lies behind the decay and demise of that once great industrial heartland. While Binelli doesn’t pull any punches about the hows and whys of Detroit’s downfall, it’s clear too that he cares a lot about what has happened.
