ive been fortunate enough to see Brian quite a few times, the most memorable was in London when he played Pet Sounds from beginning to end (in order) followed by Smile….magical

Still this addition to the lineup doesnt justify the cost of a ticket…i’ll hold on for a little while longer

Bell Orchestre? Shit. Seriously increases my temptation to go to this now.

You can add the prodigiously talented Peter Broderick to that list also, according to his MySpace. Saw him in Whelans last week and he was excellent…probably would have been gig of the year had he played longer than 45 bloody minutes or whatever it was!

Bit of an imorovement to the line-up especially with The Field and Richmond Fontaine now added….that €250 price-tag though……..

had the pleasure of catching peter broderick in cork and in dublin. the cork show was alot better but the two shows were great. he played a bit longer in cork too with the crowd really getting into it….

The new Wilco album sounds great..a real return to form after a few missteps on the last one..I’d imagine they’ll sound even better at Vicar St in August

Hitting the Picnic for the first time this year, so I’m looking forward to it after all the positive reports over the years.

Sounds like a great vibe and I think the line-up’s pretty good.

I may not be going but I highly recommend Richmond Fontaine all the same. The lead singer Willy Vlautin’s two books are pretty good too. Anyone read them? Northline had a specially composed album to go along with it. Really touchng books.

A Flock of Seagulls !!! – Surely this will be the highlight, just to see yer man’s hair !! Although it’s probably just two spiky bits and a big bald patch running down the middle these days :-)

If I had a photgraph of you la la laa la laaa la etc
