If like many of people you have left it late for sorting out your Christmas presents – despite our repeated warnings not to do that – the good (ish) news is you can still shop online from a lot of Irish sites but you will need to get your skates on. So, where can you go and what should you be buying?

Don’t worry we have you covered… or at least all of these Irish sites selling predominantly locally sourced products will have you covered.


Kennys is taking orders until Friday, December 23rd for potential delivery in Ireland before Christmas. The key word there however might be “potential” and do you really want to be leaving it until Friday?


Oriana b is promising delivery nationwide for orders placed by Tuesday, December 20th. It also promises you “a large range of intriguing and fun gifts for everyone”.



A bakery business that ships Christmas baked goods, from biscuits and puddings to mince pies, nationwide as either individual orders or as hampers. The last dispatch date is Wednesday, December 21st with last orders taken today, December 19th.


Whiplash is taking online orders until midday on Wednesday, December 21st and delivering around the island of Ireland. The site promises “plenty of beer styles, whether you’re filling the fridge for yourself or getting a special Mixtape selection as a gift”.


Eva Dorney offers all manner of pearl earrings and all sorts of coloured gemstone drop earrings with a choice of 9ct yellow, 9ct white or 18ct yellow gold stems.

Orders can be delivered by An Post registered post up to midday on Thursday, December 22nd with click and collect available until 5pm on Friday, December 23rd.

The designer says she will also be sizing gold bangles to order until 1pm on Friday, December 23rd for anyone gifting a gold bangle this Christmas. “I have six different styles of solid gold bangle in stock just crying out to make someone’s Christmas.”


The Balla Bán Art Gallery in the Westbury Mall, just off Grafton Street, “offers an eclectic collection of original paintings and prints from both local and international artists with prices from €20 upwards”. It is promising to post right until Friday, December 23rd although to guarantee your gift before Christmas, the company suggests dropping into the gallery for collection.


Laura Jayne Halton has curated a gift edit in her online store “with a host of gorgeous gift ideas including timeless illustrations and contemporary artworks for fans of stylish interiors”. The pieces come “beautifully wrapped and sent with registered post so you can buy right until the morning of December 21st”.


Handcrafted porcelain pieces from Rachel Webb’s studio in Galway city. The artist will be shipping orders using DPD until Wednesday, December 21st for delivery within the Republic.


Soap & More is a small business making handmade soap and organic self-care products. They say they will “keep posting the orders until [the] last day for An Post” so if you are going to make a purchase from them, today is the day.


The lovely camera people of Conns Cameras in Dublin are “delivering right up to Friday, December 23rd and have a full gift guide on the website for anyone looking for inspiration”. They are also offering “gift vouchers with no expiry date or spurious charges”.


Better slate than never – see what we did there? The folk with all the gorgeous slate gifts have extended their delivery dates and the cut off for ordering non-personalised pieces is today, December 19th.


Living Earth Photography have some stunning shots of dramatic Ireland with mounted prints and all stock frames available until today, December 19th.


We love the guys at Faerly and their focus on sustainable and eco-friendly products from small Irish makers. They will be taking orders until Wednesday, December 21st with delivery to anywhere in Ireland.


Andrea Mears has gorgeous jewellery with all the pieces coming with a story card explaining the symbolism behind the piece so the recipient knows how meaningful it is. They might not even know you left it to the very last minute!


For the wine lover in you life, you can sign them up to a box of carefully curated box of wine – the hint is in the name – which can be delivered to them each month. They tell us the cut off for guaranteed nationwide delivery before Christmas is December 21st. “We will keep on sending orders and our partner promises next day delivery so there’s a good chance orders placed after 21st will still arrive,” is what they say.

We’re based in Clare so will be taking orders for free delivery in Clare until 5pm on December 22nd. We did get two phone calls last year on Christmas eve and we sorted them, lol, but we try not to encourage it.”
