Hiqa stands its ground

There has been too much official ducking and diving because of a highly critical report by the Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa) concern(...)

Last month, The Irish Times reported that the HSE had threatened to take legal action to prevent the publication of the Hiqa report which has placed some blame for shortcomings at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, on senior corporate management.
