I think of this rivalry like the vicious killer clown in the horror movie IT. The clown is called Pennywise and he awakens from the underground world every 27 years to feed his need. The Tipperary-Galway rivalry was asleep since the late 80s. It’s now back in all its glory and hopefully it stays around for a while longer.
