Need a new camera? Panasonic’s mid-range Lumix G90 is part of its mirrorless range, sporting a 20 megapixel sensor and 4K video. A little more compact than the coming full frame Lumix S1, the G90 still packs in a lot of features.

From preset modes to help you jump right in, to more manual settings you can opt for as your confidence improves, the G90 takes you from beginner to slightly seasoned almost expert.

It has built-in stabilisation, a touchscreen and an electronic viewfinder that helps line up all your photographs. On the video front, it comes with the ability to shoot 4K and there is no limit on clip length; until you run out of storage space, of course.
