DIVISION THREE B/Wicklow 3-18 Louth 2-9:WICKLOW'S ANDY O'Brien set his team up for the Division Three B title with a delightful piece of hurling at Parnell Park on Saturday. O'Brien snapped up a great ball from Geoffrey Bermingham before slicing his way past two Louth defenders and crashing the ball to the net off his left hand.
This goal, which followed an early opportunist goal from full-forward Don Hyland in the 11th minute, gave Wicklow a 2-12 to 1-4 lead at the break and the game was effectively put beyond the reach of Louth at that stage.
Louth finished the match with just 12 players after four players were sent off in the second half.
