Ulster built on their opening interprovincial success against Connacht with a comfortable six try victory over a determined but ultimately over powered Exile side at Gibson Park yesterday.
The visitors made a great start with winger Gary Higgins grabbing a first minute try after good work by his pack. Ulster, however, hit straight back with Chris Kitchen touching down and Derek McCombe adding the points.
Outstanding number eight Chris McCarey helped Ulster's cause by scoring a hat-trick of tries. Declan Danagher grabbed a consolation try for the visitors.
