AS Roma v Leeds United (Olympic Stadium, 5.0)
Leeds captain Lucas Radebe readily admits it was his error which cost Leeds the only goal over the two legs of a second-round clash with the Italian club in last season's UEFA Cup.
It's a wrong centre-back Radebe would love to right, although the task facing the South African international and his team-mates in the first leg of United's fourth-round tie in the same competition has taken on a new dimension in the intervening 17 months.
Roma can now boast a £40 million frontline of Marco Delvecchio and Vincenzo Montella which has so far amassed 36 goals between them this season .
Leeds will have Gary Kelly, Eirik Bakke and Matthew Jones all returning from one-match suspensions, while 14-goal leading scorer Michael Bridges should be back in the starting line-up. Bridges, who came on as a late substitute in Saturday's goalless draw at Middlesbrough after a layoff with an ankle problem, is likely to play the role of lone frontman as in previous European games this season.
With Jason Wilcox serving a suspension carried over from his days with Blackburn, Harry Kewell will revert to the left wing in a five-man midfield, albeit without David Batty and Stephen McPhail.
Arsenal v Deportivo La Coruna (Highbury, 8.0, Sky Sports 1)
If Real Madrid or Barcelona were the visitors tonight, many would feel Arsenal had been handed a European draw from hell. So consider the following about their opponents, Deportivo La Coruna.
Six points clear of Real and eight ahead of Barca at the top of the Spanish league, Deportivo have beaten both. The good news for Arsene Wenger is that although Deportivo have won nine of their past 10 league games at home, they look vulnerable away. One point from 15 on their travels since mid-December tells its own tale.
For Arsenal this promises to be make or break, particularly as Dennis Bergkamp's will not fly to Spain next week.
The problem for Wenger, on top of Patrick Vieira's suspension, is solving a tactical conundrum which could determine whether Marc Overmars starts. "It's important to score without conceding," the Arsenal manager said, "and that puts you in a difficult position where you don't really know whether to attack like crazy or try to keep a clean sheet."
Deportivo should be dangerous. A five-man midfield will most likely contain three Brazilians, notably Djalminha, a brilliant left-footed player with nine league goals. Ahead of them is Roy Makaay, a Dutch striker.
