Colleges Munster SHC semi-finals: Thurles CBS reached their first Dr Harty Cup final since 1988 after defeating St Colman's in yesterday's semi-final at Clonmel.
Jamie Kearney scored a goal for Fermoy in the 12th minute and scores from Pádraig Lynch, Shane Cotter and Adrian Mannix put them 1-4 to 0-3 ahead.
The Tipperary side wiped out that lead when Brian Moran pointed a free and Ciarán Clohessy scored an equalising goal on 25 minutes. A Timmy Hammersley point put Thurles ahead by 1-5 to 1-4 at half-time.
Thurles conceded the opening point of the second half to Lynch but then hit the front with a Pa Bourke goal in the 38th minute.
Thomas Hassett started the late Thurles scoring blitz with a 46th minute goal before Phil Kelly drilled home a fourth goal.
