Although manager Paidi O Se has named the same 15 that defeated Cork in last month's Munster semi-final, there is one change in the substitutes. Into the reserves comes Mossy Lyons in place of John McGlynn, who had to cry off because of an ankle injury.

Manager Tommy Curtin was due to name his team to face Kerry after training in Clare last night, but with a press night and county board meeting also on the schedule, he will meet instead with his selectors early today and announce the team this afternoon.

Offaly SF

Manager Padraig Nolan welcomes Ciaran McManus back from suspension and he is the only change in personnel from the team that drew with Kildare. However, Vinnie Claffey's place at corner forward has been left vacant in the hope that he can recover from a hamstring injury.

Injury problems have forced the Kildare selectors to delay naming their team to play Offaly until tomorrow night. Karl O'Dwyer, who missed the drawn game because of a finger injury, is still not fully fit, while wing back Derek Maher is also a doubtful starter because of flu.
