RUSSIAN Snows's victory at Doncaster yesterday finally clinched the British Flat trainers championship for Saeed bin Suroor. The four-year-old made, all in the RJB Mining Fillies Conditions Stakes to put the issue beyond doubt.
Bin Suroor and Henry Cecil have been battling for the title virtually all season and Cecil clawed back some of the leeway at the top of the table when his Prussian Blue took the preceding Coal Products Group Conditions Stakes.
But the £4,976 earned by Russian Snows's victory meant her handler cannot now be caught as there are only two days left.
