AN IMPRESSIVE third quarter helped St Kieran’s shake off Dublin North yesterday after the latter had closed to within three points, 0-13 to 1-7.

Points from Aidan Cleere (2), Hugh O’Neill and Thomas O’Hanlon pushed St Kieran’s six clear and Michael Brennan goaled to stretch the gap to nine points (1-17 to 1-8) after 41 minutes.

Niall O’Donnell had landed a goal for Dublin North after 15th minutes and they trailed by 0-13 to 1-5 at the break.
