SATURDAY (3.0 unless stated)

Watford (11) v Man Utd (4) – Live BT Sports 1, 12.45
Top-scorer Odion Ighalo returned late from Nigeria international duty and is a concern for Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores, who is also with Sebastian Prodl, Tommie Hoban, Joel Ekstrand and Rene Gilmartin due to injury.

Manchester United will also be without their first-choice forwards, with Wayne Rooney ruled out through illness and Anthony Martial nursing a foot problem. Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are also out, leaving Louis van Gaal with James Wilson as his only fit striker and Memphis Depay as a likely starter after a period on the sidelines.

Chelsea (16) v Norwich (15) - Live Setanta Sports 1
Thibaut Courtois is not ready to return for Chelsea, despite returning to training following a knee injury. Radamel Falcao is also out for the visit of Norwich, but Branislav Ivanovic is expected to be available for Jose Mourinho after a hamstring injury.

Nathan Redmond is expected to shake off a thigh problem in time to face Chelsea, while Norwich captain Russell Martin is available for selection after suspension. Matt Jarvis remains absent with a knee niggle while the Republic of Ireland duo Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan will be assessed.

Everton (9) v Aston Villa (20)
Tom Cleverley is set to return from almost three months on the sidelines to face his former club, while another long-term absentee, Leighton Baines, is also preparing for a comeback after an ankle injury. Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning will face late fitness calls after suffering knocks.

Remi Garde will be without Jordan Amavi for the rest of the season after the full back suffered a serious knee injury on international duty, while there are also concerns over Gabby Agbonlahor and Rudy Gestede, who are suffering from calf and knee problems respectively.

Newcastle (17) v Leicester (3)
Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Rob Elliot has shaken off the thigh problem that saw him miss the playoff matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina, and back-up goalkeeper Karl Darlow has also returned to training to provide Steve McClaren with some relief at the back following a near-crisis before the international break. Gabriel Obertan, Jack Colback, Steven Taylor, Emmanuel Riviere and Rolando Aarons all remain sidelined however.

Jamie Vardy will be assessed as he looks to match Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Premier League record of scoring in 10 successive matches. The striker missed England’s friendlies with a hip injury and is a doubt to face Newcastle, with Leonardo Ulloa, Shinji Okazaki and Andrej Kramaric on stand-by to deputise.

Southampton (7) v Stoke (12)
Republic of Ireland striker Shane Long has returned to Southampton's first-team panel after a five-match absence.

The Saints are also boosted by news that Virgil van Dijk is expected to overcome a knee injury sustained while playing for the Netherlands during the week. Jay Rodriguez is facing surgery on his foot and Fraser Forster remains out with a knee injury.

Mark Hughes will be able to call on Erik Pieters, despite the defender breaking his nose in two palces against Chelsea before the two-week hiatus. Marc Muniesa has a hamstring problem and will miss out, while Shay Given is also unavailable.

Garry Monk has a fully-fit squad to choose from to face Bournemouth, although Andre Ayew, Ki Sung-yeung and Jefferson Montero will be assessed after their international exertions. Leon Britton, Wayne Routledge and Eder could all be considered as Monk seeks to end a slump in form.

Glenn Murray may return to the Bournemouth starting line-up after injury, but Tyrone Mings, Max Gradel, Callum Wilson, Christian Atsu and Tommy Elphick remain long-term absentees for Eddie Howe’s men, who have lost four on the bounce in the league.

West Brom (13) v Arsenal (2)
James Chester could be set for a return to the West Brom side after struggling for game-time since his summer transfer from Hull. The defender could replace Gareth McCauley, who is suspended for the visit of Arsenal, while Chris Brunt is expected to shake off a groin problem.

Arsene Wenger is to make a late decision on the emotional readiness of Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud after the pair were involved in France’s pair of international fixtures. Hector Bellerin is available again however, and Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are not quite ready to return, while Theo Walcott is a few weeks away from action.

Manchester City welcome back Sergio Aguero after seven games out with a hamstring injury, but David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Wilfried Bony will miss out. Pablo Zabaleta is back in contention after a knee problem but Samir Nasri is a long-term absentee.

Daniel Sturridge is in contention to start, but Jürgen Klopp will make a late decision on the striker after five weeks out. Jordan Henderson and Jordan Rossiter are to return to training soon, but James Milner and Jordan Ibe are available again and are expected to play a full part at the Etihad.

Andros Townsend has returned to Mauricio Pochettino's thoughts following a clash with the fitness coach which saw him left out of subsequent match-day squads. Clinton Njie and Son Heung-min have recovered from injuries and one of the two is likely to replace the suspended Erik Lamela.

Alex Song is set to make his first appearance of the season against Spurs after a succession of injuries, and is joined in the squad by Diafra Sakho after a thigh problem. Dimitri Payet’s absence is a big blow to Slaven Bilic as he faces three months out of action, while Enner Valencia face a further month out.

The Eagles welcome Marouane Chamakh back from a hamstring injury but there are concerns over Bakary Sako, who is facing a fight to be fit in time to face Sunderland. Kwesi Appiah is still out with a knee injury and Dwight Gayle will be unavailable due to a damaged hamstring.

Lee Cattermole is available to captain Sunderland after a groin problem kept him out of the defeat to Southampton, but Sam Allardyce otherwise has a clean bill of health as his side look to recover from back-to-back defeats in the league.
