Plymouth have signed Republic of Ireland Under-21 international striker Cillian Sheridan on loan from Celtic. The 20-year-old from Cavan will join Paul Sturrock’s squad ahead of Saturday’s opening home game against QPR.
Sheridan scored two league goals in 14 games for Motherwell at the end of last season, but has failed to tie down a starting spot for the Bhoys despite some promising performances.
