Jonathan Speake came to Finn Harps rescue with a late equaliser against Sligo Rovers in a thrilling game in the Showgrounds on Saturday night.
Sligo looked to be heading for a first home league win of the season after Jim Sheridan had headed them in front from Mark Hutchinson's free in the 53rd minute.
It was Sheridan's first goal in senior football and ironically it came against the team his father, Jim Snr., served so well in the '70s.
Sligo produced some stylish football with Brian Hetherston twice going close and Sean Flannery was unlucky with a header.
