UCD 2 Bohemians 2TWO dramatic late goals from substitute Dave Scully enabled a battling Bohemians to collect a point against UCD at the Belfield Bowl last night.
Bray looked on target for a sixth victory in seven league games over a Bohemians side down to 10 men when defender Kevin Feely was sent off after just five minutes.
The Students had the perfect start when Feely lost his footing and was shown the red card by Dublin referee Seán Murray after a clumsy tackle on Danny Ledwith as the winger charged in on goal.
The resulting free from just outside the box was dispatched into the roof of the net by Ledwith.
It got better for College on 22 minutes when Paul OConor picked up a loose ball in midfield and let fly with a speculative shot from 40 yards that took a deflection off David McMillan to wrongfoot goalkeeper Greg Murphy.
Murphy produced a fine save on 72 minutes to prevent David McMillan adding a third goal for the in-form Students. Again it was the brilliance of Murphy to prevent College adding to their lead when pushing over a piledriver from the outstanding OConor.
Bohemians then mounted that dramatic late revival when first Scully fired home from 20 yards after Pender had created the opening on 90 minutes.
And Scully was again the hero when heading home in the third minute of added time
