Scots may sue

Scotland are ready to fight FIFA over their rule which bans the treatment of players on the pitch during the World Cup

Scotland are ready to fight FIFA over their rule which bans the treatment of players on the pitch during the World Cup. The Scots are so incensed, they will consider taking referees to court and suing them for negligence.

Manager Craig Brown is especially concerned about head injuries to his players, in particular Celtic striker Darren Jackson and Rangers front man Gordon Durie, who both suffered badly this season with such problems.

Jackson needed brain surgery last August, whilst Durie missed several weeks of the season after being severely concussed against Kilmarnock earlier this year.
