Tipperary GAA supporters couldn't have hoped for a better time to greet the opening of the county's new merchandise shop

Tipperary GAA supporters couldn't have hoped for a better time to greet the opening of the county's new merchandise shop. At 12 a.m. today hurling manager Nicky English will cut the ribbon at the new shop in Lar na Pairce, just off Liberty Square in Thurles.

With the victory over Waterford in the Munster championship last Sunday, business is sure to get off to a booming start. The range of merchandise available will include replica jerseys, tracksuits, jackets, car flags, buntings and key rings.

No word yet on whether or not those coloured strands of wool will be available. Come to think of it, what the hell are those coloured strands of wool?
