Russia v Georgia: Russia will be without injured Dmitry Alenichev and Vladislav Radimov, but fellow midfielders Alexei Smertin and Alexander Mostovoi have recovered from injury and are expected to start.
The Russians, in second place, a point behind group leaders Switzerland, need only to avoid defeat in their final qualifier to secure a play-off spot. But Georgy Yartsev, who replaced Valery Gazzayev as Russia coach just over a month ago has warned against over-confidence.
"The Georgians have nothing to lose in this match, therefore they will be ever so dangerous. We have to be careful and concentrate on the task in hand," he said.
Georgia are missing their top two players, with Rangers striker Shota Arveladze nursing a knee injury and AC Milan's Kakha Kaladze still not fully fit following last month's groin surgery.
The Georgians, who are bottom of the table, will also be without suspended defender Alexandre Rekhviashvili and midfielder Goga Gakhokidze who was banned for four games following a violent outburst on the players' bench during last month's qualifier against Albania.
