O’Reilly is another incredible Irish talent who could make waves at the Riocentro Pavilion.

The Clonmel man pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the Baku European Games last year when he came through a tough draw to beat the local Azeri fighter Khaybula Musalov 3-0 and take the gold medal.

The southpaw is seen as an exceptional talent and although the middleweight division is one of the toughest, O’Reilly has already shown he can live with the best boxer in the world. A decent draw for him in Brazil and who knows where this story will end.
