MUNSTER IHC Cork 1-24 Tipperary 2-6: BRENDAN RING starred as Cork ran riot against Tipperary at Thurles yesterday.
They were 0-8 to 0-2 clear after 18 minutes but Tipp got a lifeline in the 21st minute when Timmy Dalton netted to trail 0-10 to 1-4 at the break. Maurice O’Sullivan’s 41st-minute goal sealed the win.
