Eoin Kelly and Michael Rice helped reigning champions St Kieran's, Kilkenny, to a comprehensive victory over St Peter's, Wexford, in their Leinster Colleges A senior championship game at New Ross yesterday.

Kelly, a Tipperary minor, finished with a personal tally of 0-11, while Rice scored three goals and two points.

Rice's first goal came after 11 minutes and with points from Kelly and Brian Carroll against the strong wind, St Kieran's led 1-8 to 0-4 at half-time.

Rice added two more goals in the second half. The St Peter's goal came from Shane Murphy after 39 minutes.
