DOMINIC CROTTY Full back. Age: 26. Five Caps.
HAS endured a catalogue of injuries over the past few weeks and has had to work hard just to take the pitch. Has performed very capably for Munster at this level.
JOHN O'NEILL Wing. Age: 27
VERY strong with ball in hand and very hard to stop when he gains momentum but may not have the all-round footballing skills of the man he replaces, John Kelly.
MICHAEL MULLINS Centre. Age: 30. Nine caps.
TAKES great angles, is a strong ball carrier and has a good understanding with his midfield partner. Defensively, needs to concentrate better at times.
JASON HOLLAND Centre. Age: 28.
DECEPTIVE performer. If Stade drift on to Mullins then Holland boasts the ability to work the openings. The key defender in the Munster back line.
ANTHONY HORGAN Wing. Age: 24
IN TREMENDOUS form both before and after his recent injury. Munster's leading try scorer in the competition with five. Great finisher and a much improved defender.
RONAN O'GARA Outhalf. Age: 24. 11 caps.
THE man upon whom so much will depend. O'Gara (below) goes head-to-head with an equally accomplished place-kicker in his counterpart Diego Dominguez. At his best has the maturity, ability and precision to guide Munster to victory.
PETER STRINGER Scrumhalf. Age: 24. Five caps.
SUPERB passer, more inclined to break and gives his half-back partner the time and space to boss the game. Excellent cover tackler but how bad is the leg?
PETER CLOHESSY Prop. Age: 35. 43 caps.
STADE will probably attack him in the scrums and try and draw the life from his legs. They will not be the first but few have succeeded.
FRANKIE SHEAHAN Hooker. Age: 23. Two caps.
ONE of the outstanding players in the team this season. Tough, hard-working, happy to perform many of the less glamorous tasks in ruck and maul.
JOHN HAYES Prop. Age: 27. 10 caps.
"THE BULL" produced a storming second half in the game against the Rest of Ireland, edging nearer to a Lions call-up. All he needs is to pass the scrummaging test.
MICK GALWEY Lock. Age: 34. 33 caps.
LOOKED up to by his team-mates, he is often a barometer of how Munster are faring in a match. Huge influence but the need will never be greater.
JOHN LANGFORD Lock. Age: 32. Four caps (Aus).
THE primary source of possession out of touch. A great athlete without whom Munster wouldn't have enjoyed half the success they've achieved.
DONNACHA O'CALLAGHAN Lock. Age: 21.
STRONG, aggressive defender with a great aptitude for the big occasion as evidenced by his performances in the FIRA Under-19 World Cup Final and the SANZAR Under-21 tournament in Argentina.
DAVID WALLACE Flanker. Age: 24. Four caps.
HAS enjoyed a wonderful season to date but how he fares with his damaged knee will have a huge bearing on how Munster go. A gamebreaker, the Munster fans will be hoping that he can reproduce his best form even if he lasts for 50 minutes or so.
ANTHONY FOLEY Number eight. Age: 27. 20 Caps.
BLESSED with great footballing intelligence, he is often overshadowed by flashier contributions from team-mates. Does a huge amount of work in the tight. A solid defender and a powerful ball carrier.
