Sligo Rovers' midfielder Neil Ogden has received a three-match suspension following his recent sending-off against Bray Wanderers in the tempestuous league meeting at the Showgrounds a fortnight ago. Ogden now misses the FAI Cup quarter-final tie between the sides at the same venue on March 6th.

Shelbourne's influential midfielder Pat Fenlon will also miss his club's cup quarter-final against Derry City after he picked up a two-match ban for accumulating 20 penalty points.

Tommy Dunne (Shamrock Rovers), UCD pair, captain Aidan Lynch and Tony McDonnell, Shane Reddish of Dundalk and Drogheda United's Martin Beggs have also reached 20 points and are out for two games.

Monaghan United's Mick Scully is suspended for two matches following his red card against Athlone Town while both Evan Creedan (Longford Town) and Eddie Heavey of St Francis have received one-game bans for recent sendings-off. Bohemians's Glen Wade misses one match after reaching 20 points as a result of a carry-over from last season.
