Damien O'Reilly has been selected at left corner forward for Cavan for Sunday's
Ulster football final against Derry in Clones. The versatile O'Reilly started the semi-final against Donegal in defence and finished up in attack where he scored a point.
Later in that match O'Reilly was replaced, following a knock, by Phil Kermath who figures at right full back. With O'Reilly being accommodated in attack
Michael Graham loses out this time.
The side shows a number of positional changes with only Ray Cunningham on the left wing of attack retaining his original position from the Donegal match.
Kildare forward Johnny McDonald will miss Sunday's Leinster senior football final replay against Meath in Croke Park. The official word is "he cannot be considered for selection".
McDonald severely damaged a hamstring during the second half of the drawn match and has been absent from the training sessions since, despite speculation that he would be okay.
There are no plans for a late fitness test for the Naas player.
Kildare, who will name their side tonight, are already worried about Glen Ryan's thigh injury, which he carried into the drawn game, and Declan Kerrigan, who has a toe infection.
The signs are that Ryan will take the field although he declined to kick the ball from the moment he aggravated the injury during the first half of the drawn game. John Finn, also injured, and Dale Hynan, who was prominent in
Kildare's league run this year, are not ready yet to return.
Meanwhile, Kerry have named the team which started the National League final against Cork for Sunday's Munster senior football decider against Clare in
Limerick.
However, the side shows two changes and a reshuffled full forward line from that which beat Tipperary last time out in the semi-final.
The two changes in personnel were always expected once team captain Mike Hassett and Brian Clarke were cleared of injury.
Hassett's return to the full back line means that manager Paidi O Se has opted for the same defence he had intended to field against Tipperary.
Morgan O'Shea, drafted in at the last moment to replace Hassett for that match, has since broken a bone in his hand during training and could not be considered.
Clarke displaces Dara O Cinneide at full forward. O Cinneide was taken off before half-time in a tactical substitution against Tipperary but is preferred to John Brennan for the right corner forward spot.
When the counties last met, in the final of 1992 in Limerick, Clare shocked
Kerry winning by 2-10 to 0-12. It signalled Jack O'Shea's last appearance in the
Kerry jersey.
Maurice Fitzgerald was the top scorer in that final, kicking seven points.
