Shamrock Rovers v Dundalk:MICHAEL O'NEILL switches his attention to the visit of Dundalk tomorrow afternoon following his reconnaissance mission to Tel Aviv to watch Shamrock Rovers' Europa League opponents. Israeli side Bnei Yehuda beat Ulisses of Armenia 1-0 to go through by that score on aggregate. "It was good to see them play and they were definitely the better side and deserved the win," said O'Neill of Bnei Yehuda who come to Tallaght for the first leg of the second qualifying round tie next Thursday.

Winger Billy Dennehy is suspended for the Dundalk game while right-back Pat Sullivan (knee) remains out. Central defender Aidan Price and Thomas Stewart, their two-goal hero in the win over St Patrick’s Athletic on Monday which put them top of the table, must shake off respective calf and thigh strains to feature.

“It’s a massive game,” said Dundalk captain Neale Fenn. “We’ve beaten them twice this year. They’re on a great run so it’ll be a tight one . . . Faz (striker Fahrudin Kuduzovic) is suspended so he’ll be a big miss for us.”

Defender Liam Burns also remains out with an abdominal problem and goalkeeper Peter Cherrie (foot) and defender Michel Sinnott (knee).
