RACING BREEDERS' CUP: FRESH FROM Camelot's exciting Racing Post Trophy triumph on Saturday, Aidan O'Brien is now turning his attention to the Breeders' Cup and a possible Classic tilt by So You Think.

The champion trainer reports his star Australian import in good shape after his Champion Stakes second to Cirrus Des Aigles and So You Think has the option of the Mile on turf or the dirt Classic at Churchill Downs on Saturday week. “He’s good. He came out of Ascot well and we’re obviously looking at the Breeders’ Cup. He has to start working again and he a big option of the mile or the Classic,” O’Brien said.

“He’s a seasoned horse, has a great cruising pace, travels very well and is quick out of the gate. He has tactical speed, so the Classic would be hard looked at and is a definite possibility, but the decision has yet to be made definite.

“The boys (Coolmore) will talk about it among themselves, I imagine. I suppose it will be towards the end of the week before anything is finalised,” he added.

Camelot is as low as 3 to 1 favourite for next year’s Epsom Derby after giving O’Brien a sixth Racing Post Trophy with a hugely impressive defeat of Fencing and Zip Top at Doncaster.

However, the trainer hasn’t ruled out a possible tilt at next year’s 2,000 Guineas for the Montjeu colt.
