MUNSTER CAME through their successful opening game of the PRO 12 season against Newport at Musgrave Park with no serious injury concerns.
Mike Sherry picked up a slight shoulder injury but a decision on the hooker’s fitness to face Glasgow will be delayed until later in the week.
South African international BJ Botha has resumed training this week while Darragh Hurley is expected to be back next week. Botha has made good progress but both his fitness and that of Ian Nagle, who picked up a shoulder knock, will be monitored.
Scrumhalf Tomás O’Leary continues to be confined to the gym as he rehabs his lower back injury while the unfortunate Felix Jones is scheduled to see a London-based specialist this week to have his foot injury assessed.
Connacht welcome the Scarlets to the Sportsground on Saturday, with the province having a newly-established supporters club, the Connacht Clan.
Founded during the summer the Clan already has a membership of 3,000 fans. Following the team’s impressive win in the 34-degree heat of Treviso last Saturday, a large crowd is expected.
