CRICKET NEWS:DUBLINER EOIN Morgan (23), has been awarded an incremental contract by the ECB after his performances helped England secure a place in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy.
The Middlesex batsman made a whirlwind 67 from just 34 deliveries as England dumped the hosts out of the competition at Centurion in Pretoria on Sunday night, his second half-century of the tournament.
The knock brought his average to over 40 in the 10 ODIs he has played for England since qualifying earlier this year.
Morgan will now be financially rewarded for appearances over the next 12 months.
