The arrangements for next summer's football and hurling championships have been finalised in two of the provinces. Munster and Leinster have still to complete their fixture list but after a meeting in Croke Park yesterday between the four provinces, the Ulster and Connacht programme was announced.
Neither reigning champions are scheduled to begin their defence at home with Armagh playing Tyrone at a neutral venue, Clones, in Ulster whereas Mayo are in dispute with Sligo over who has the right to the home fixture.
Connacht SFC 2000
June 4th - Roscommon v London, Hyde Park.
June 10th - Galway v New York, Tuam.
June 11th - Mayo v Sligo, venue to be confirmed.
July 2nd - Roscommon/London v Leitrim, Hyde Park.
July 9th - Mayo/Sligo v Galway/New York, Castlebar/Markievicz Park.
July 30th - Connacht final, venue to be decided.

July 8th - Roscommon v Galway, Hyde Park (provided a Roscommon-Leitrim football semi-final isn't drawn).

May 14th - Fermanagh v Monaghan, Enniskillen; Cavan v Derry, Breffni Park.
May 28th - Antrim v Down, Casement Park.
June 4th - Armagh v Tyrone, Clones.
June 11th - Fermanagh/Monaghan v Donegal, Ballybofey/Clones.
June 18th - Cavan/Derry v Antrim/ Down, venue to be confirmed.
June 25th - Armagh/Tyrone v Fermanagh/Monaghan/Donegal, venue to be confirmed
July 16th - Ulster final, Clones.
