A competent display from St Andrew's College saw them overcome CUS in this first-round Junior Cup tie at Donnybrook yesterday.
St Andrew's out-half Nigel Lysaght landed a penalty from the right-hand side early on and midway through the first half, wing forward Stephen Maybury surged over the line, with Lysaght converting.
Five minutes after the break CUS struck back with Roberto Fontana finding a way through, but Lysaght secured victory for St Andrew's 10 minutes from the end with a penalty kick.
