LENNOX LEWIS has no immediate plans to take an AIDS test following revelations that former rival Tommy Morrison has tested HIV positive. The former WBC heavyweight champion's manager Frank Maloney confirmed yesterday that Lewis will not panic despite being involved in a bloody six-round encounter with Morrison back in October.
If Lennox is concerned and wants to go for a test, we will immediately organise it for him," said Maloney. "But there's no concern - our doctors have told us panic is the last thing we need do."
Morrison was yesterday awaiting the results of a fresh blood sample after being visited at his home by medical personnel.
