Iscan grabbed the lifeline thrown to him by the Jockey Club and will tackle Saturday's Rothmans Royals St Leger after passing his stalls test at Leicester today.
But opinions were divided among trainers about whether the rules should have been waived to give Sir Michael Stoute's colt the opportunity to go to Doncaster.
Iscan was walked slowly down to the one-mile start by his regular work-rider Duncan McMurray and Stuart Messenger.
With the senior starter Peter Haynes supervising, Iscan, with McMurray in the saddle, walked into the stall without a problem.
He stood calmly in his box for a minute before the stall was opened and he ambled out apparently without a care in the world.
Iscan's participation in Britain's final Classic had been thrown into doubt when he caused trouble before the start of the March Stakes at Goodwood 10 days ago.
His actions prompted the second official complaint in the space of 12 months and under Jockey Club rules he was required to pass a stalls test which must be taken at least 14 days after his latest misdemeanour.
