KILKENNY'S success in Section A of the Leinster Senior Cup continued at Lakelands Park with another place in the final the reward following victory over Skerries yesterday.
Just on 15 minutes Kilkenny went in front when a tigerish piece of play by scrum-half Clive Kavanagh produced a scrum five yards from the Skerries line. From there, wing forward Geoffrey Kenny pounced for the only try of the game with David Smith duly converting. Smith increased the lead with a penalty on 19 minutes.
