KERRY QUALIFIED for the final at Cusack Park, Ennis, last night with late points after Clare staged a comeback of sorts with a Conor Cleary goal in the 58th minute.
Kerry led by one point, 0-10 to 2-3, at half-time. Clare kept in touch with goals from a penalty by Conor Cleary, after his twin Eoin was hauled down. The second was scored by Jamie Malone. In the second half, Kerry’s Conor Keane kicked good scores but a goal from a free by Conor Cleary with two minutes left gave Clare hope.
However, Kerry rallied with points from Eanna Ó Conchúir, Seán Moloney and Niall Sheehy.
