IT'S life in Division Two for Instonians next season. Their already shaky tenure in the top bracket was finally terminated by a gritty, committed Young Munster side at Shane Park on Saturday.
Instonians dominated the first-half as Bond put over two penalties and a conversion of flank forward Kevin McKee's try for a 13-0 advantage.
Shortly before half-time Young Munster, out-gunned in most facets of play, managed to claw their way back into the match. Right winger, James Carey, showed a clean pair of heels to the Instonians cover to score wide out.
Bond increased the home team's advantage with a third penalty early in the second half but Young Munster were now driving forward and tries by Ger EarIs and Declan Edwards, both converted by Aidan O'Halloran, followed by a Mick Lynch penalty gave them the advantage.
In the closing minutes Innes Gray sped in for an Instonians try only to see Bond miss the difficult conversion.
