British boxer Prince Naseem Hamed is on the verge of having his World Boxing Council (WBC) featherweight title taken away if he decides not to give up his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) crown.

WBC president Jose Sulaiman said Hamed must relinquish one of the belts as the boxer promised two weeks after beating WBC champion Cesar Soto last October in Detroit.
