Grange men best

The captain's (Michael Twomey) prize in the Leinster Golfing Alliance at the Grange on Sunday produced golf the highest calibre with the main prize going to Grange member Brian Williams. Playing off a seven handicap, Williams returned a nett 64 to win by two shots from Grange captain, John Kilmurray. Grange members filled five of top six amateur places, with an excellent 65 gross giving Milltown's John Langan the professionals' prize.
